Membership Levels Explained
Most of our memberships run for a full year, from July 1st to June 30th of the following year. Membership renewals always run for that period, regardless of renewal date.
New members are those applying for the first time. Regardless of the start date of your membership, the same fee is required, and your membership will expire on June 30th of the following year.
Associate memberships always run from July 1st to June 30th and are not pro-rated regardless of start date. This level of membership is only open to dancers who already pay a full membership fee to another club. Please make sure to include your other club’s name when signing up for an associate membership.
Membership Application
New memberships and renewals require you to fill out a paper form that you can either send with your payment via mail, or take to any of our dance nights. Please access the current membership form HERE.
Membership Badges
New and returning members can request a name badge using the registration form. Please note that an additional payment is required for the badge. You should include the full payment (registration and badge price) in your check when submitting payment. Thank you!
The Honky Tonk Queen contest wasn’t always the only big crowd pleaser at convention. Two conventions (Baltimore and Vancouver) hosted a Hunky Trunks King competition, where the best bodies were on display, and included a fun ‘pool tip’. Sadly, the Hunky Trunks competition is no more. And the beautful Bathing Belles, who organized the event and who themselves appeared in the most gorgeous bathing wear at those conventions, have not been sighted in recent years. This was the ‘Golden Age’ of gay square dancing!
