About Us
We are a gay and lesbian (LGBTQ+) square dance club in Palm Springs and Cathedral City, California. We typically dance full programs on Mondays, with classes for new dancers on Wednesdays. Annual Beginners Class - January Through April
Our Beginner’s Class started January 14, 2026. Although it’s too late to join, you are welcome to come along any Wednesday to see what we do and meet our members! No charge to stop by and say HI!
The class runs on Wednesdays at 6pm for 15 weeks.
Modern square dance is NOT your grandma’s square dance! Come along and find out how we make it FABULOUS!!!

Regular Schedule - September Through May
Our regular club dance night is Wednesday, 6pm to 8pm, dancing all levels through Advanced, depending on the dance level of members attending. Check out our Schedule page for up to date information.
Summer/Fall Schedule - May Through September
During these months we operate our Summer Schedule. We dance one Monday night a month at full MWSD levels. We are dark on Wednesday nights. Check out our Schedule page for up to date information.
Come meet our members!
You are welcome to stop by on any regular dance or class night and talk with club members about our activity. There is no charge to stop by and find out what Gay Square Dance is all about. (HINT: It’s NOT your Grandma’s square dancing!)
Membership
We are a member club of the International Association of Gay Square Dance Clubs. Membership is open to anyone, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other factors. If you decide to take our full class, you will be able to join for an annual fee.
