About Us
We are a gay and lesbian (LGBTQ+) square dance club in Palm Springs and Cathedral City, California. We typically dance full programs on Mondays, with classes for new dancers on Wednesdays. Check out the Schedule page for seasonal dates and times, our Events section for special events, and the News section for updates about the club.
Our regular club dance night is Monday, 6pm to 8pm, dancing the full SSD, Mainstream, Plus and Advanced programs.
Our Class Night is Wednesday when in session. Classes typically run for 12 weeks. Please note that to successfully complete the class so that you can dance on Monday nights, you must attend all 12 sessions.
You don’t need a partner for our classes – one will be provided. And you don’t need special clothes or shoes. Wear whatever you like, from T’s to Tuxedos! Sneakers or leather soled shoes work best.
Summer/Fall Schedule
We are currently operating our Summer and Fall schedule. We are dancing on Monday nights at full MWSD levels. We are dark on Wednesday nights. Our Wednesday night class will return next year in January 2026. You are welcome to stop by on a Monday night and talk with club members about future events or just to find out about our activity.
Join Us For Our 2026 Desert Fly-in!
Our annual fly-in runs over three days each February. Our next event is scheduled for February 6-8, 2026 featuring FIVE callers! For details and registration form, see our EVENTS page.
Membership
We are a member club of the International Association of Gay Square Dance Clubs. Membership is open to anyone, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other factors. If you decide to take our full class, you will be able to join for an annual fee. See our Membership section to sign up and/or order a name badge.
